Yes I'm still alive and I'm still here. As you probably can tell things have been a bit quiet on the blogging front since I started back at university for my third and final year and I thought I should just fill you in on a few new things going on.

University Update # 5 : House Drama
I am now officially back at university for third and final year, which is both terrifying and exciting! I am literally so happy to be back in Oxford, for a number of reasons and cannot wait to get back into the routine of studying.
The last time I updated you all was as second year came to an end and boy has a lot happened over the summer, well not even the summer the past four weeks have been crazy and probably not in a good way...
Slimming World Update # 10
It's been a very long time since I've done a Slimming World update, basically before the summer began. A lot has gone on and I've got a lot to fill you in on so grab a cuppa and get yourself comfy for my rollercoaster summer.
20 Things I Won't Miss About Living in Student Halls
For the past two years whilst I've been at university I have been in some form of student halls. In first year I, like most first years, lived in university supplied student accommodation with complete strangers. It was an unusual experience, and one I won't be doing again in a hurry. In second year, I lived in private student accommodation with three girls I chose to live with. I am relieved to say next year (for my third and final year at Oxford Brookes University) I will be living in private rented house which I am excited for and I'm glad to be seeing the back of student halls for hopefully the foreseeable future.
May Highlights
Despite not blogging a lot this month (you can read more about that here) I have still had a lot of highlights from the month!
University Update # 4: Finishing Second Year
I've been a bit haywire with blogging recently, and trust me that was not an intentional. I had a plan of posts I was going to upload across May but life just got away from me and before I knew it I had no blog photos prepared and no blog posts written and no time to dedicate to doing either of these things. As you'll know blogging is a hobby of mine, I don't earn from it but I also have other commitments such as being a student and having a part time job and obviously when push comes to shove the blog has had to take a back seat. But I'm glad to be back in the swing of things and I have lots of posts that I just cannot wait to write!
Revision Tips and Tricks #2
Last week I did my first instalment of my Revision Tips and Tricks posts. If you haven't read the first one you can read it here. This week I am mainly going to be focusing on the different methods of revising and the tools you can use to aid this.
Revision Tips and Tricks #1
As its coming up to exam season and I'm now back at university for the final six weeks of second year I thought I'd share some of my revision techniques. This is going to be two posts as I don't want it to be too long. I think I've got my revision technique/routine down to a 'T' seeing as I've used the same techniques throughout my GCSEs, A-Levels and now university. Today will focus on setting yourself up for getting ready for revision and things to think about.
University Update #3
I can't quite believe this is my third university update! My last one was before Christmas and boy oh boy has a lot happened since then. If I was you I'd make sure you were comfy, maybe a blanket, a nice big mug of hot chocolate and a couple of chocolate biscuits because, well, it would be silly not to!
10 Thoughts I Had Whilst Looking For A Student House
A bit of a different post. It's that time of year where most students are looking for a house for their second and third years of university. I never had to do this last year as I am currently living in student accommodation again which is mainly for second and third years. Anyway next year I am living in a house with two girls off of my course and searching for a house is so stressful and so frustrating! I thought I'd share today 10 thoughts I personally had whilst searching for a house this year.
Going Home for Christmas: University Update #2
I feel like I haven't sat down and just blurted out all my feelings in quite a while and thought seeing as I am now home for Christmas it would be the perfect time to do a university update.
The last update I did was just after my first week as a second year and that seems like forever ago now, so much has happened, both good and bad but its been a good semester and it's terrifying to think that I am now half way through my degree! Take me back to first year!
What's in My Bag | University Edition
Now I've been back at university for a couple of weeks and lectures are in full swing (unfortunately, so wish I could be a fresher again!) I thought I'd share with you what I keep in my bag on a day to day basis. This does vary though depending on my day and how long I'm going to be gone out of my flat so what I need varies as with anything. But on a typical day this is what I have in my university bag.
Where I Blog: University Edition
I love being nosy and seeing where people blog from! Anything to get to know the person behind the blog. Hence why I am doing my very own version today. I've been blogging on and off for a very long time and I've never done one of these posts, but since I have been blogging properly again for just over a month I thought it was time to share with you where I put my thoughts together for blog posts. This is a University edition as if you don't already know I am back at university (you can read my update post here) so have been having to try and sort out my blogging set up. It's minimalistic but I like it and I know I can really focus at this space.
Working Whilst Studying: Pros and Cons
If you don't already know I am a full time Law Student studying at Oxford Brookes University (and yes it is based in Oxford, you don't understand how often I get asked this!) and alongside studying full time I also have a part time job. I've worked for the same company since I was 16 and was lucky enough to be able to transfer to different stores when I decided to go to University.
Second Year So Far
I thought I ought to do an update post as most of the posts going up on my blog at the moment were scheduled weeks ago as I knew September was going to be a pretty hectic month. I'd go and grab a coffee and get yourself a coffee, this is going to be a long 'un!
Ways to Beat a Hangover
I am now back at university and back into the full swing of things in terms of going out most of the nights in the week and feeling the effects of it the following morning. Now I'm not saying I'm immune to hangovers but I rarely get them but when I do there are certain things I do to make myself feel better.
Tips For Surviving Freshers!
It's coming to the end of the summer and with that starts the new academic year and a bunch of freshers heading off to university. With the first year of university comes the infamous freshers week (or fortnight if you're lucky enough) and seeing as I went through this last year I picked up some valuable tips and tricks to make freshers go as smoothly as possible and thought I should share these with those who might find them helpful!
Freshers Survival Kit
Summer is coming to an end and with that comes the beginning of another academic year. As I'm heading back to university in a couple of weeks I thought it was only right for me to share what things got me through Freshers last year to help those planning on going to university!
Off To Uni Series Round Up
Good luck to all those getting their A-Level results, I'm sure you've done amazingly well and remember its not the be all and end all. Seeing as today is results day I thought it was only apt that I did a round up of all the university posts I've done over the last year as some may come in handy to those preparing to go to university this year as well as making a nice end to the series.
(don't worry it isn't the end of my university posts just the Off To Uni series!)
Off to Uni : First Year Experience
To say the past like nine months have been a rollercoaster would be an understatement. It's crazy to think how quickly the time has passed and that I've completed a 1/3 of my degree already is just insane. My first year has had its ups and downs but I would never change a single thing.
