My A-Level Experience

I decided to do an overall A-Level experience post as I did a couple last year at the end of my first year of A-Levels (you can read these here and here) and they seemed to get a good response. So I thought I would do a post on my final year and my experience. This is a lengthy post so if I was you I'd get a cup of tea and make yourself comfortable!

I never did a post on my A-Level results from my first year so here is a quick overview for you all. I picked 4 A-Levels to do in my first year which were History, English Literature, Sociology and Spanish. Most people drop one of these when going into A2 which I did. I chose to drop Spanish and carry on with my other three A-Levels into the second year. Therefore I will only be discussing the grades I got in the subjects I chose to carry on. In my overall AS grades I got a B in History, a B in Sociology and a B in English Literature. For me this was a huge thing as A-Levels are so much harder than GCSEs and for me to hold onto my high grades was a massive achievement in my opinion. It took a lot of work and a lot of dedication but in my opinion the end result is completely worth it.

Update - Finishing my Exams

It feels so weird to actually sit down and write a blog post! I'm sorry I've been absent recently but due to my A-Level exams my time has mainly been spent revising and panicking. Glad to say though that I have now officially finished my A-Levels and have left school for good. The past month alone has been a whirlwind of emotions and has gone so quickly! Can't believe I've left the school I've been going to now for 7 years and that in September I'll be hopefully going off to university!

Seeing as I now have a lot of free times on my hands it means I'll be able to blog more frequently for you guys and am setting myself a goal of at least 2 or 3 blog posts a week. I sat down the other night  and have now planned the majority of posts which will be coming up on my blog in the next couple of months! Let me just say there is a lot to look forward to!

I thought I'd also take this post to explain the basis of my new publishing process. I will be mainly publishing posts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Tuesdays will be mainly consisting of reviews, Thursdays will be a weekly lifestyle post and Sundays are Skincare Sundays. I will be posting on other days when other posts will be going up such as monthly favourites, empties, etc. This schedule will be beginning this week and to give you a quick preview I will beginning with a lifestyle post on Thursday of my experiences of A-Levels as a whole and any advice I can give and Sunday will be a post on my top 5 favourite face masks!

Theres a lot coming up on my blog over the next couple of weeks so make sure you are following me on Bloglovin', I will be updating my twitter a lot too on when my posts will be up so make sure you follow me @beautyandmexo and also my Instagram @paigelaura96.

I cannot wait to get back into blogging I have honestly missed it so much! So make sure to keep checking on my blog for new posts!

Lifestyle | My First A-Level Year Picture Summary

I thought alongside my post about my AS exams summary (which you can read here) I would do a picture summary of my thoughts and feelings of my first year of A-Levels.

My A-Level Experience - Year One

As many of you know after I finished my GCSEs last year I decided to carry on to do my A-Levels at Sixth Form. Well, I have now finished all my first a-level exams (which if didn't know the first year is called AS and the second year A2) and thought I'd share my experience so far with all of you (well, those of you who care).

After getting my GCSE results I decided I wanted to do 4 AS levels: history, spanish, english literature and sociology, which I then started in September. I thought I'd structure this post based on each subject I chose and my individual experience with each subject (as they were all different). So if I was you I'd get a cup of coffee or tea and get ready to sit down to read a rather long and wordy post.
